Tamilyogi is an unauthorized streaming platform that first emerged in the mid-2010s. It has gained a massive following primarily by distributing pirated copies of Tamil movies, along with Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi films, all for free.
The film is a remake of the highly successful Telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi (2013). Directed by Sundar C, the screenplay was written by K. Selva Bharathy based on the original. The soundtrack was composed by the popular musical duo Hiphop Tamizha. The title of the film is taken from a dialogue by Silambarasan in the earlier film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018).
