The default HDM-4 models are based on international standards (often European or Australian climates). You must calibrate the deterioration factors for your local environment. Recognizing this gap, the World Bank is leading an international effort to develop a new software called HrDM-5.0 (Highway and road Development and Management Model, Version 5.0).
