A standard Data Configuration in Statistica allows users to query a single database via a dedicated connection. An SVB Data Configuration, however, is far more powerful. It is created when a standard configuration isn't flexible enough, allowing you to write custom SVB code to generate your data. When you create a new SVB Data Configuration in the Enterprise Manager, a template of the necessary SVB code is automatically provided, which you can then edit to suit your needs. svb configs
