Beyond academia, Dr. Nusbacher has applied her expertise directly to global security infrastructure. She served as a logistics officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and later contributed to the British Army, deploying as a staff officer in major international interventions including Kosovo (Operation Agricola 2) and the Iraq War (Operation Telic 1).
She served as the Devil’s Advocate to the British Joint Intelligence Committee and was the Head of the Strategic Horizons Unit in the UK Cabinet Office.
