Digital literacy is no longer optional. In the 21st century, the ability to discern fake news from facts determines one's success. Firstly, digital literacy prevents the spread of hoaxes which can ruin reputations. Secondly, it enhances critical thinking skills in students. Therefore, schools must integrate digital literacy into every subject.
